Using WiFi transfer files from laptop to android tablet programmatically

I am working on a project where i need to transfer files from laptop to android devices using WiFi.

The scenario is as follows:

1. Image is saved in a folder in the laptop


2. This image needs to be transfer automatically to a folder of the android tablet

How can I achieve this programmatically?

I am looking for some ideas and feasible solutions.
