Java Programming Assignment (Mortgage Calculator) through Cloud9

I'm currently taking a Java programming course and one of my assignments is to create a "Mortgage Calculator". I'm using the Cloud 9 IDE but I'm having trouble setting up a new project/work-space and I'm looking for some help. I'm new and I'm just looking for some guidance as to how to set everything up. Am I doing this right? I'm also using a Chromebook (purely for physical conveniences). I have my other laptop that I've downloaded Eclipse, etc...
